Do You Wonder:

“What are some good work from home jobs that require no experience ?”

Followed by:

“Which of them pay well ?”

Great questions, which brings me to the topic of this post:

High paying online jobs that require no experience.

I’ll also go over how you can start one of these entry level work from home jobs and make your way to better paying opportunities.

Let’s get to them.

Work Online and Get Paid Big Bucks

High Paying Online Jobs (no experience needed)

#1 Be A Growth Marketer, Not Just A Content Moderator

Growth Marketer is the new Online Moderator kind of job and an awesome entry level one, too.  The main role of a Growth Marketer is helping a company establish a presence on social media.  You’ll also be a brand advocate, creating, publishing and promoting content about the company as well as , engaging and educating customers.

Where can you get a job as a Growth Marketer ?

Check out 99 Dollar Social, The Social Element and Mod Squad.  They are three well-known companies with entry level remote jobs cleaning up their client’s online presence and acting as brand advocates.

These are legitimate online jobs that pay weekly, but...the pay is only $12.00 and hour.

Below the average pay of $43,000.00 a year, according to ziprecruiter.

So this is what you can do:

After you’ve worked for one of the companies I mentioned, check out Toptal, Attractions, Aha!, Chargify, Pagely, and Zapier.  These “remote first” companies often have marketing jobs that cover everything that’ll get the company growing.

#2 Be A LEGAL Transcriber Because It’s Better

We all read about online transcription jobs, but those jobs are for general transcription (for the most part).  Legal transcription is a bit more involved because it deals with legal mumbo-jumbo that is associated with court, trials, and law enforcement.

Big deal, right?  Well, yeah, because the pay is better. Like over $35,000 a year better !

But finding legal transcription work can be a bit tough, especially if you don’t have experience.

So here’s what I suggest:

FIRST: Check out the FREE MINI COURSE from Transcribe Anywhere.  This will open your eyes and help you decide if this is a good job choice for you.

NEXT: Read my post about transcription companies that hire people without experience – some of them need legal transcribers, like GMR and Rev.

THEN:  Get some training so you can make even more money doing legal transcription.  You can take this comprehensive online course and kick start an awesome career as a legal transcriptionist and make big bucks

#3 Proofreading: In-Demand Among Bloggers

When I hear the phrase: “work from home, no experience no fee”, one of the jobs that jumps out at me is Proofreading for blogs.

Here’s why:

Just about everyone who produces written content needs someone to look over their writing. Myself included. And with an explosion of new blogs every day, blog post reviewing is becoming the hottest and most in-demand proofreading and editing job out there.  Making this one of the best ways to work online – from home – and get paid big bucks !

And the pay ? How does over $36,000 a year sound?

Scribe Writing, Proofreadingservices.com, Smart Brief, and Cactus Communications are four well-known companies that have a variety of proofreading and editing jobs. You can work anywhere and make decent money working on a variety of documents…as long as you can prove you have the chops.

And those “chops” don’t include prior proofreading experience.  What you need are: Bachelor’s degree, command of the English language, excellent writing skills, just to mention a few of them.

But if you don’t have a Bachelor’s degree and want to take advantage of the in-demand blog proofreading and editing opportunities out there, here are a few things I suggest:

#1, take a look at some of the quick little proofreading or editing gigs on MTurk (Amazon’s answer to crowdsourcing).  You should be able to pick up some experience – and a few bucks – pretty easily as long as you “qualify” (meet the qualifications set by MTurk) for the gig.

#2, invest a few bucks in yourself and take this top-rated online course to learn how to be an effective proofreader.  I think you’ll be glad you did.

In fact, Upwork is a great place to get some no experience data entry jobs from home.

Heck, just take a look at how much this Upworker charges for her talent:

This is probably the hottest jobs that require no experience. And with good reason; Pinterest currently has over 200 million monthly users on their image search engine.

Managing Pinterest accounts is pretty easy to do, all you need to know is how to use Pinterest and be able to create cool Pins. If I had it in my budget to hire someone to do these things for me, I would find someone in a heartbeat.

#6 Teach English Online Without Needing A Degree

Teaching a “foreign” language online to people around the world is a rewarding job for anyone who wants to set their own flexible schedule. You’ll help people around the world learn the language you are most efficient in.

iTalki is one of the most popular language-learning platforms out there, with teachers setting their own rates and earning on average over $20.00 an hour and you don’t need a college degree !

And, if you become one of their Community teachers, iTalki is one of the best legitimate online jobs that doesn’t require experience.

#2 Community teachers may earn a little less, around $20.00 an hour, but all you need is patience, understanding, and the desire to help others learn a new language.

Because this post is about NO EXPERIENCE JOBS, you’ll want to consider option #2

You can apply to teach on iTalki here.

#7 Sell An In-Demand “Thing” on Fiverr Without Spending Hours On It

Fiverr used to be known as the place to sell “anything” for $5.00.  Today, it lets you expand on your “thing” so you can make even more money.  And when i say expand, I mean you can offer expanded services and charge more.  Of course, Fiverr will take a bigger cut.  Oh well…

The biggest problem with Fiverr, though, is coming up with the “thing”.  And remember, Fiverr (FIVE – er) is all about $5.00 or less in what people pay.  So your thing should be quick and easy to do or create.

I took a look around Fiverr and turned up these highly sought after services:

  • Logo creation
  • Blog Post Writing
  • Vioce Over
  • WordPress help
  • Translation

If you can do any of these things quickly, then set yourself up on Fiverr.

But it’s better if you can come up with a “thing” that very few other people are selling yet still in high demand.

Here’s what I think is quickly becoming the most in-demand Fiverr offering:  IMAGES !

Unique, one-of-a-kind images that bloggers can use on their blogs.  And not just any image.  Theme images.  Images that represent a certain theme, like office scenes or dogs barking, or kids studying.  You get the idea  So, if you can take a bunch of theme-related, good quality photos, you’ve found your little goldmine.

Ready to start making money on Fiverr ? This course from a Fiverr pro is awesome because it shows you how to :

  • Register and Create Your First Fiverr Account

  • Successfully Do Like Fiverr’s Top Sellers to Ensure More Sales

#8 Manage Social Media Because Someone Has To

I think this is quickly becoming the most sought-after remote job but don’t let this title scare you.

There are Social Media Manager jobs out there that don’t require previous experience but don’t expect to do more than just answer comments and messages or share interesting content. However, the more experience you gain, the more involved you’ll be in a brand’s social media strategy.

Your best bet for landing a Social Media Manager job without a  butt-load of experience is to freelance.  Upwork is a good platform for this. The upside (besides not needing a glamorous resume): you can set your rate.  $30.00 an hour isn’t unheard of. The downside: competition, so you really have to stand out and offer some awesome skills.

Then, when you’re done reviewing those videos, pick up this course so you can learn all the ins and outs to being the best Social Media Manger.

#9 Be A Content Manager, Not Just A Content Writer

Being a Content Manager is much more than just writing articles.

Because you create content that includes writing blog posts, sourcing videos and images to be used in blog posts, scheduling publishing dates of articles and even creating social media updates.

Plus, the average salary is over $56,000.00 !

Where can you find a Content Manager job ?

There are several companies that frequently hire Content Managers, like Aha! InVision, and Jungle Scout.

You can also check out content-only job boards like ProBlogger and Blogging Pro.

#10 Translator or Interpreter.  They Both Pay Big

A recent Gallup poll tells us that 1 in 4 people in the USA can carry on a conversation in two languages. Impressive ! I barely remember the few common phrases I learned in High School French class.

If you’re on of these bilinguists, you can make money with this handy little talent at companies like Gengo, Lanuguageline and Unbabel.

Ziprecruiter tells us that the national average pay is $21.00 an hour for interpreters and $33.00 for translators.

#11 Edit Transcripts For Court Reporters

Otherwise known as Scoping, this is a work at home job that doesn’t require any experience. Well, almost none, you should know how to read and type.

What you’ll do is take transcribed /stenographed court reports and convert them into words. Pretty simple, really, and you can make over $20.00 an hour doing it.

Internet Scoping School has a FREE ONLINE MINI COURSE that will get you through the basics.

#12 Sell On Amazon (because they’ll do the hard work for you !)

You sell it, Amazon ships it !

That’s Amazon FBA

Otherwise known as Fulfilled By Amazon

All you really have to do is have an item – or items – that people want to buy. Amazon does the rest. Like my friend MaryAnn, she sells all-natural soaps and lotions and makes a nice profit of over $12,000 a month, working less than 20 hours a week.

Interested in learning more about selling stuff on Amazon ? This top-rated, nearly 5 out of 5 star awesome online course lays it all out, like how to:

  • Source products
  • Make a passive income
  • Figure out what to sell by analyzing Amazon’s product categories
  • Negotiate the best price for various manufactured goods
  • Find a product that will sell 10 units or net profit $100/day
  • The ins and outs of selling on Amazon
  • How to promote your Amazon listings

#13 Monetize YOUR Social Media

Kylie Jenner has made a huge portion of her wealth through social media, I think mostly by promoting her make-up line or something. And because she has a huge following, she sells a lot of her make-up through her social profiles.

But you don’t need an enormous following to make good money with your social media, you just need a decent number of followers with interests similar to yours.

So how do you actually make money with your social media accounts?

Here are a few ways:

  • Affiliate Marketing: Similar to what Kylie Jenner has done, you can find a product that you strongly believe in, promote it on your social media and when someone buys it, you earn money. This is basically affiliate marketing 🙂
  • You could also create an e-book or online course and promote them through your social posts.
  • Already have an online service? Use social media to promote it.

Entrepreneur.com has an awesome article that details a lot of ways you can leverage your social media accounts for money.

#14 Direct Sales With Companies Like Mark Kay, Avon, Stella & Dot, or…

I used to sell Avon.  My friend Amy sells Mary Kay.  My sister is a Stella & Dot jewelry stylist.  I bet you know someone who makes money with at least one of these companies, right ?

Avon, Mary Kay, and Stella & Dot are my three favorites, but there are so many direct sales companies out there – giving you the opportunity to sell just about anything. These companies are more than just ways to make money from home, they are ways to make a living offering stuff you really like and appreciate. And you’re a business owner, to boot !

Now, I have two important things to say about this way to make money:

  1. Talking to people is a must. You make your money hosting “parties” and selling the products.
  2. Getting started will cost a little bit of money.  This covers sample products, support, a website, online directory listings…everything you need to be successful  That’s just the way direct sales companies work..

Get started with Avon $10 starter kit

Get started with Mary Kay $100 starter kit

Get started with Stella & Dot  $199 starter kit

#15 Customer Service: A Stepping Stone AND A Great Work At Home Opportunity

Probable one of the best entry level jobs from home is customer service.

Even though a lot of these jobs are call-center based, there are some really great companies that hire customer service reps to work remotely – not part of a call center.

There are companies that hire Customer Service Reps. without experience that also pay you while you go through the training process.  You can also check out Nexrep, Accolade Support, Uhaul and Liveops.  All great considerations because you’ll gain valuable experience to take to your next remote job.  And these jobs are easy to get.

The bad news: They pay around $9.00 an hour.

BUT…

…if you already have experience, and want to make more than $9.00 an hour, check out companies like Automattic, Taxjar, Customer.io, Hotjar, and Recharge.  They frequently have open remote customer service jobs that pay a LOT more than $9.00 an hour !
