Best Part Time Online Jobs

Wonder is the first company that comes to mind as far as part time jobs are concerned because there always seems to be a need for researchers.

Here’s how it works:

  • Their clients submit questions.
  • You, as a Researcher, come up with at least 5 quality resources to a particular question.
  • You then compile your research and thoroughly answer their question.
  • You get paid up to $2,000.00 a month (according to Wonder).

For instance, do you like to write ?  Are you good at managing social media ?  Do you like making travel arrangements ?

These are just a few of the things Virtual Office Assistants do for their clients.  In fact, I wrote a post covering the most in-demand services an online office assistant can offer.

Virtual Office Assistants who work for one of the companies I mentioned earlier can earn anywhere from $10.00 to $15.00 an hour, which is pretty good for a part-time job.

But, if you really want to have a dramatic increase in income in a short time, becoming an independent Virtual Office Assistant is what I suggest.

#4 Editor / Proofreader

With so much online content these days, Editors and Proofreaders are in high demand.  Especially among bloggers.

Before we talk about how to become an Editor of Proofreader, let’s quickly go over the difference between the two:

– An Editor is the first line of document correction, making changes to the structure and clarity of a document.

– Proofreading is the final stage of a written document.  A Proofreader will look for misspellings and incorrect grammar.

There are several companies that hire part time Editors and Proofreaders on a regular basis. For example:

  • American Journal Experts
  • Cactus Global
  • Edit 911
  • Edit Fast
  • Polished Paper
  • Scribe Media

Take a look a look at how full-time Editors and Proofreaders earn.  Part time, you’ll make less.  But still pretty good money.

A great career with rewarding benefits, nursing jobs are always available. But are there any that can be done at home…and on a part-time basis?

McKesson, Anthem, Cigna, and United HealthGroup always seem to have openings, including positions like Telephone Triage, Case Management, and Patient Care.

Although most are full-time, they do occasionally have part-time positions that can be done virtually.

If you have a way with words and can whip out a professional resume or cover letter, ResumeEdge will pay you. This is a freelance platform where you are paid a flat rate for writing resumes and cover letters.

Seasonal Jobs are great if you want to work a lot of hours for a short period of time.  Even though you may work up to 40 hours a week, the fact the job is seasonal still gives you the flexibility you want.

Places like Nordstrom, HSN and Williams Sonoma hire during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season while Blooms Today and Teleflora hire during all the holidays, including Valentines Day and Mother’s Day.

As far as pay goes, it depends on the company but the typical starting wage is around $14.00 and hour.

#11 Mobile Auto Technician

While we’re at it, I want to mention You Mechanic. If you’re an automotive technician, you can make $40-$60 an hour as a mobile mechanic.

This is an interesting concept: A customer books a service online with the You Mechanic app. and you will go to their home or business to service their vehicle. You have complete control on how often you work.

So Now What ?

To be completely honest, the search for the perfect work-at-home job never ends.

But by carving out a few hours of your day you can un-tap the enormous potential to make a nice living working part time.

Things will fall into place.
